PLAYER CARDS |
||||
| - Your club Registrar will give you player cards and a roster. | ||||
| - Pictures need to be affixed to the cards and the players need to sign their card. | ||||
| - Players and the League Registrar must sign your cards. | ||||
| - Laminate the cards after the above is completed. | ||||
| - Please do not give the cards to the players. | ||||
| - An IYSA stamped roster or player cards must be presented by the third (3rd) Saturday of the season or the game must be forfeited. (Please notify the opposing team twenty four (24) hours in advance if this is the case.) | ||||
| PRACTICE | ||||
| - Do not leave a player alone after a practice or a game. | ||||
| - Do not play or practice if there are thunderstorms in the area. | ||||
| GAMES | ||||
| - Each team is allowed to opt out of two (2) dates per season on your team application.. | ||||
| - Except for rainouts, referees must be paid for games cancelled less than twenty four (24) hours in advance by the canceling team. | ||||
| - All games are Indiana time and are played on Saturday between 9AM and 5PM and on Sunday between 1PM and 5PM. Occasionally, inter-club games may be scheduled on a weeknight. | ||||
| - Present your player cards and a copy of your roster to the referees prior to the game. (Make sure to get them back.) | ||||
| - Pay the referees BEFORE your home games. | ||||
| - Be ready to start your game five (5) minutes before the scheduled time. | ||||
| - No coaching from the sidelines. | ||||
| - PLEASE do not argue with the referee. If you have a problem with a referee, note the name of the referee and speak with your club president and/or assignor. Most of the referees in this area are children; treat them, as you would want your child to be treated by another adult. | ||||
| - Any coach, adult, spectator, player, or parent who bullies, berates or intimidates a referee or attempts to do so can be removed from the game and barred from coaching or attending an ECIYSL game. | ||||
| - Coaches should try to control their team if they become overly dominate in a game. Suggestions are to make necessary substitutions to slow the pace of the game and allow it to be fun for everyone involved. | ||||
| - Referees can not stop a game when a player is not showing obvious signs of being hurt or injured. Coach your team to kick the ball out of bounds when a player is injured but is unable to show it. This gives the referee the necessary stoppage to allow a substitution without interfering with the flow of the match, and is in accordance with FIFA Laws of the Game. | ||||
